Good printer choice, withy one criticism you’d want until consider
I’ve been very happy withy this printer: the text and graphics quality are good, it’s fast, it’s lightweight (but not delicate). It hasn’t jammed once when working from the paper tray.
My one complaint is that the manual form feed slot is frustrating. It’s a tiny slit, not a tray that holds and support inserted media, and the slit doesn’t most important smoothly into the printer feed. As a result, i receive to try placing feed-in paper withy precision, finding upright the right position on behalf of it to be accepted. Brother HL-2140 seems the printer could receive had a smoother input window on behalf of manual forms. When the printer isn’t warmed up, my insertion of manually-fed media seems to baffle the printer and it goes into it’s “red light” error mode, inasmuc as if the printer is going, “what, what?? Who, me? Am i supposed to be suitable for something withy this? I’m confused!” i receive to remove the paper, snap the printer frank and on, and resume the effort withy a “warmed up” device instead.
Addendum: i’ve been having problems documents failing to print. The printer doesn’t even warm up; it upright fails. I receive to cancel the print job, turn the printer frank and on, and then everything works perfectly. I receive no idea why, and receive not seen thisproblem in other reviews.
