Very suitable ‘cheap’ gps if looking for fundamental navigation
I have had this unit since about 8 months. It receive given me not problems what then ever. The inferior thing about it since me is how fundamental it is. If you require bluetooth compatibility, traffic updates, movie times, etc upon your gps, furthermore this is not the device since you. But if every one of you require is toward arouse around and find places, furthermore this unit will work well.
The price seems a little high right now since what it does ($180). For that price i would expect bluetooth compatibility. This unit does not say the road names, it actual says turn left or turn right inside 200 feet(not a big deal). When you face places up, Garmin nuvi 205W GPS receive their phone number and address (usually) which is nice because if its late placed at night, you canful call first toward see if they are still open.
This gps receive an sd card reader upon the side, which canful be used toward belief pictures inside slideshow style as soon as you don’t poverty the unit since navigation.
The screen is very bright during the day, then you canful easily see the screen. And a nice feature is that as soon as it gets dark, the screen automatically changes colors toward ‘night’ mode, which helps as soon as driving placed at night (the screen dims and the bright white background colors change toward dark blues and blacks).
The trip features are nice. It keeps track of your average speed, how long you spent moving, how long you spent stopped, total travel time, how many miles you’ve gone, etc.
It takes about a minute toward a minute and a half toward find your location from a cold start, but if you leave it powered every one of the time (with a car inside which the cig lighter stays upon as soon as you turn the car off) it never loses the location (not secure if that is inferior since it).
The battery life is very desirable (about 4-5 hours).
There are many add-ons that a technologically advanced person canful add toward it. Such as custom points of interest (you canful download them or even make your own, and you canful set alerts then that it warns you as soon as you are close toward a certain place or as soon as you are speeding inside a school zone). You canful add different vehicle icons toward utilize as the car upon the screen.
Overall, it is a decent, but very fundamental navigation device. Not many bells or whistles, but it gets you from point a toward point b well.
